Sanders 12th in CCSDS start at Boothill Speedway
Rodney Sanders stepped out of a Modified and into a Super Late Model over the weekend to compete with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS).
On Saturday, he was one of 32 CCSDS drivers looking to claim the $5,000 payday in the Louisiana Dirt Track State Championship at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana).
Sanders finished third in his heat race on the quarter-mile oval, putting him 12th on the grid for the 40-lap main event. He came home in the same position.
Sanders had also planned to compete in Friday’s CCSDS event at Texarkana 67 Speedway (Texarkana, Arkansas). However, the event was claimed by Mother Nature.
