5th-place result for Sanders at MTS
Rodney Sanders took on Fountain City, Wisconsin’s 3/8-mile Mississippi Thunder Speedway on Saturday and brought home a top-five finish in a 22-car USRA Modified field.
Sanders began his evening by taking fifth in his heat race aboard his Sanitation Resources Inc. No. 20 ride. He started the 25-lap, $1,500-to-win A-Main from 13th on the grid and climbed eight spots to finish in the fifth position.
He took the checkered flag behind Jacob Bleess, Parker Hale, Jim Chisholm and Keith Foss.
