Top-5's with USMTS in Mississippi
Rodney Sanders and the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) returned to action this past weekend with a two-race swing through Mississippi.
On Friday at Hattiesburg Speedway, Sanders backed up a heat race victory with a fifth-place finish in the feature.
Action shifted to Mitchell’s Motorplex on Saturday, where Sanders advanced into the USMTS Mod Maham with an eighth-to-fourth run in his heat race. He improved one position in the $5,000-to-win finale to cap the weekend.
Sanders is currently fourth in the latest USMTS point standings.
